The Netherlands Startup Visa is a residence permit that allows non-EU entrepreneurs to live in the Netherlands for up to one year to develop an innovative startup, in cooperation with an IND-approved Dutch facilitator (mentor or incubator).
This program may be suitable for startup founders, tech innovators, and entrepreneurs with scalable business ideas that contribute to the Dutch economy. After the initial one-year period, eligible applicants may apply to transition to a self-employed residence permit, subject to approval by Dutch immigration authorities.
